Our commitment

What you can do on this website

• Use the Accessibility button (bottom left of every page) to make text larger, switch on high contrast, use an easier-to-read font, add space between lines and letters, underline links, use a large cursor or stop animations. Your choices are remembered on your device.
• Point at, focus or long-press menu items, buttons, labels and headings to see a Kiswahili translation (tafsiri ya Kiswahili). This can be switched off in the same menu.
• Use the whole site with a keyboard: every link, menu, form and button can be reached with Tab and used with Enter or Space, and the focus is always visible. "Skip to main content" is the first link on each page.
• Use a screen reader (for example NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver or TalkBack): pages have a clear heading structure and landmarks, images have text alternatives, form fields are labelled and errors are announced.
• Zoom to 200% or use the site on a phone without losing content or scrolling sideways.
• Read text with at least 4.5:1 colour contrast; information is never given by colour alone.
• Get help without the website: phone or WhatsApp 0799933022, email langatatvc2022@gmail.com, or visit the customer service desk, where staff can fill in a complaint, enquiry or feedback form on your behalf.

Known limitations

• Some documents in Downloads (for example scanned PDFs) may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we will provide the information in another format.
• Kiswahili hover translations cover the website's menus, buttons, forms and main college information, not every notice or course description.
• The external application portal (apply.langatatvc.ac.ke) and other external portals are run separately and are not covered by this statement.
