Culinary Arts Level 5 develops advanced skills in food preparation, cooking, baking, menu planning, food presentation, kitchen management, hygiene, and food safety. Trainees gain competence in managing food production operations and maintaining professional culinary standards.
Career Opportunities: Graduates can work as Cooks, Chef de Parties, Pastry Chefs, Catering Supervisors, Food Production Supervisors, or establish their own restaurant, catering, bakery, or food business.
Entry requirements
Level 5 - Craft Certificate
Any one of:
KCSE mean grade D (plain)
completion of a KNQF level 4 certificate or related course
an equivalent qualification as determined by KNQF.
