This course equips trainees with advanced practical skills in engine diagnosis and repair, automotive electrical and electronic systems, transmission systems, braking systems, steering and suspension, and vehicle maintenance. Learners develop competencies in diagnosing mechanical faults, using automotive diagnostic equipment, performing complex repairs, and maintaining modern vehicles in accordance with workshop safety standards.

Entry requirements
Level 5 - Craft Certificate
Any one of:
KCSE mean grade D (plain)
completion of a KNQF level 4 certificate or related course
an equivalent qualification as determined by KNQF.
