Go to the portalElectrical Engineering Level 3 is a competency-based technical programme designed to equip trainees with practical and theoretical skills required to work in the electrical installation, maintenance, and related engineering sectors. The course builds a strong foundation in electrical principles, installation practices, electrical machines, wiring systems, safety, testing, and fault diagnosis.
Trainees gain hands-on experience in domestic, commercial and basic industrial electrical installations, including wiring, installation of electrical accessories, distribution boards, lighting systems, sockets, and protective devices. The programme also introduces trainees to electrical measurements, basic electronics, electrical drawings, maintenance procedures, and safe working practices.
Level 3 - Proficiency
Any one of:
Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE)
Junior Secondary Education
completion of KNQF level 2.
