This course introduces trainees to basic building and construction skills, including construction materials, hand tools, workshop safety, masonry, setting out, and basic building operations. Learners gain practical experience in mixing mortar, laying bricks and blocks, interpreting simple building drawings, and performing basic construction tasks.
Career opportunities: Construction assistant, masonry assistant, building site assistant, and trainee construction worker.

Level 3 - Proficiency
Any one of:
Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE)
Junior Secondary Education
completion of KNQF level 2.
