This course equips trainees with advanced competencies in building construction, construction project planning, structural works, building services, quantity estimation, interpretation of technical drawings, construction site management, and quality control. Learners develop skills in supervising construction projects, coordinating site activities, managing construction resources, enforcing occupational safety standards, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and quality requirements.
Career opportunities: Building construction technologist, construction site supervisor, building works supervisor, construction project coordinator, building inspector assistant, and construction estimator.
Entry requirements
Level 6 - Diploma
Any one of:
KCSE mean grade C- (minus)
completion of a related KNQF level 5 course
an equivalent qualification as determined by KNQF.
